I've always been fascinated by how data can be visualized but was not very good at creating it. As a ski fan, the various mountain-related stats also was of interest. So working on that, here's the first set that I created. It is a bar graph of all the US ski slopes with their base and summit elevations displayed. The height of each bar is the difference between those too. Vertical drop is a separate stat and not shown here.
Is there a good way to read the fine print. Its hard to see the names when you zoom in.
